VAC182 Food Production Cleaner


About the role

Typical rostered hours are 3:00 to 7:00 PM Monday to Friday. Some flexibility is required for earlier starts, later finishes and adjusted days.

Working in a small team you will be involved in cleaning, sanitising and disassembling food preparation and cooking utensils and equipment. You will also be cleaning and sanitising all areas within our facility including floors, walls, drains and more.

Skills and experience

You need to be a flexible, energetic, and self-motivated person who is happy working in a small team environment. Ideally you have demonstrated cleaning and sanitation experience in a food or similar environment including an understanding of safe chemical handling. If you have domestic or office cleaning, but no food environment cleaning, experience, you are unlikely to be suitable for this position.


VAC181 Food Process Worker - Vegetable Processing


About the role

Typical rostered hours are 11:00AM – 7:00 PM Monday to Friday with some flexibility required for early starts and later finishes.

If you’re looking for regular part-time work and have hands-on experience processing and weighing food ingredients, you might be ideally suited to join our team and be involved in processing the ingredients we use in our Vegie Magic products.

Skills and experience

You need to be a flexible, energetic, and self-motivated person who is happy working in a small team environment. Ideally you have 2-3 years demonstrated food handling experience involving the processing and weighing of food ingredients. You will have a food handler certificate and experience in cleaning and sanitising kitchen utensils and food processing equipment and demonstrate the ability to use a walky stacker.


VAC180 Food Production Worker - Speciality Food Business


About the role

If you’re looking for regular part-time work and have hands-on experience making food in large batch sizes, you might be the ideal person to join our Fresh Fare team and be involved in making our Fresh Fare gourmet pâtés. You will be working in a small self-managed team responsible for making, packing, and despatching our products and maintaining a hygienic, safe food facility. Typical rostered hours are 6:00AM – 2:00 PM Monday, Thursday, and Friday with some flexibility required for early starts, later finishes and adjusted days based on our customer’s orders.

Skills and experience

You need to be a flexible, energetic, and self-motivated person who is happy working independently and in a small team environment. Ideally you have 2-3 years demonstrated food handling experience in foodservice, hospitality, catering, or food production. You will have a food handler certificate and experience in cleaning and sanitising kitchen utensils and food processing equipment.


VAC173 Process Worker - Plant Based-Foods


About the role

We currently have morning and afternoon hands-on food processing roles available that involve preparing foods for processing, weighing, and blending ingredients, and operating blending, processing, and cooking equipment. These roles also involve regularly cleaning, sanitising, and assembling equipment and maintaining accurate and legible record keeping.

Skills and experience

If you are suited for these roles, you will be physically fit, enjoy working standing up, have good food hygiene and work safety awareness. Ideally, you will have 1-2 years food handling experience in similar roles or work environments and hold a food handler or food safety supervisor certificate.
